Roma was laid out at the start of the 20th century, and its Porfirian mansions and Art Nouveau houses line Álvaro Obregón, Colima and the streets around Plaza Río de Janeiro. It is now the city’s busiest table: Rosetta, Máximo and Expendio de Maíz hold MICHELIN stars, and Contramar is a lunchtime institution.
