About Papalote Museo del Niño
Papalote, the children’s museum (papalote is Nahuatl for kite), opened in 1993 in the second section of the Bosque de Chapultepec, in a tiled blue building by Ricardo Legorreta. Its motto is “Toco, juego y aprendo”: touch, play and learn. Outside, the Jardín Maya has a pyramid to explore (CDMX official tourism site).
Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Papalote Museo del Niño before you go.
